Summer 2006

In summer 2006 the Project resumed......with a team of 4 graduate assistants and 14 field school members. We worked together with about 20 local workers, most of whom were in their late teens/early 20's and added to the social dynamics of the team. We explored the north and south sides of the Forum. Field trip destinations were a Roman fortress (Buciumi), a series of wooden churches and a botanical garden (Jibou) in Salaj County, Oradea, Cluj-Napoca, Turda and Lara, a mountain resort to the west of Cluj.
